First and foremost, all things are possible through God. Accept that you were wonderfully made by a loving God and if God can make you then He can certainly make for you a companion who complements you like a setting complements a gem. Sure, there are guys out there who won't look at you twice because you aren't anorexic and don't wear heels or make-up, but you don't want those guys anyways. Frankly, doing what you're doing is pre-screening qualified candidates.<br />As for not knowing any happily married couples, look for those couples who have a relationship centered around Christ and you will find happy couples. The Bible's example of perfect union is three persons: Adam, Eve and God in the garden.
